Haj 2014 - 1472 applicants selected sans qurrah

Hyderabad, April 6, 2014 : Special Officer of the AP State Haj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor stated that altogether 18080 Haj Applications were received from all over the state for the Haj 2014. The highest number of applications are from Hyderabad with 8839 applicants in 3742 covers. Only five applicants submitted Haj Applications from Srikakulam district, while 12 applicants in seven covers have submitted Haj Applications from Prakasam district.

He said the Haj Committee of India has not declared the Quota and the date for the Qurrah so far. However, the State Haj committee is prepared for the Qurrah.
